The following presentation may not be for the faint of heart… especially if you love the 10mm Auto like we do, but live with the assumption that it gives you “.41 Magnum power in a semi-auto”. Being that we are long-time, die-hard fans of the 10mm Auto cartridge, we have always been curious where the 10mm = .41 mag notion originated, having heard the comparison thrown around for years
Today in review, we will take a closer look at the second generation Kel-Tec Sub-2000 [S2K]. This particular variant is the 9x19MM Glock G19 version, which is admittedly a very welcome addition to the S2K family. While the folding, ultralight, pistol caliber carbine [PCC] retains most of the core features that made the original so popular, Kel-Tec has made a number of improvements to the original design, including an accessory rail on the forend, an upgraded front sight and a factory threaded barrel. We will take a look at what is new, what stayed the same, and what we still would like to see in future revisions.
Here are some free downloadable PDF targets size 8.5″ x 11″ that you can print at home. Just remember to uncheck/deselect the “scale to fit media” or “auto-scale” options in your print settings in order to preserve the accuracy of the measurement grid lines.
This video demonstrates the correct [and cheap] way to perform a trigger job on an AR-15 with a standard mil spec trigger. It will guide you through the “what and where” of properly stoning the fire control group [FCG] components with an armorers stone. This video shows how a Ruger MK IV 22/45 LITE functions with the Tandemkross Blast Shield installed.
This is a great video that deserves some attention; a data compilation and analysis of real-world handgun shootings. It examines their effectiveness when weighed against other pistol calibers, and against rifles and shotguns.
This post was compiled to address the incessant light primer strikes that plague the Savage Rascal .22 LR, an otherwise good firearm. This condition is caused by a combination of two firing pin design defects: 1. An excessively wide rim
As you might already know, dry firing certain rimfire arms can do serious damage to internal components such as the firing pin and the breech. Using “dummy rounds” or “snap caps” can help alleviate the risk of doing serious damage to your gun.

There are few things more disappointing in life than spending hundreds of dollars on a new concealed carry gun, plus hundreds more on ammo, sights, holsters, etc, just to find out that you don’t really like the gun. In this
Logic would dictate that when an armed, violent maniac is trying to kill you, a reasonable response would be to return fire, reload and repeat as needed. While the world struggles to digest what happened in Paris on Friday, Nov. 13th, 2015, the focus is drawn to a belated effort to end the wave of migrants from Syria into Europe. Unfortunately, this effort fails to address the most fundamental security flaw in the EU…
I have never considered myself to be an environmentalist, but I do love the outdoors. And, I tend to prefer wild lands be as clean as possible. In a recent shooting trip to one of my favorite BLM-managed sites, I couldn’t help but notice how much trash shooters have left in the desert.
Most of us are aware of people selling fake Asian-made knock-off’s or copies of legitimate name-brand products. This is nothing new. Some can be well-made and carry a much lower price tag, making them a decent value. However, there has
I can honestly say that I never experienced any real problems with the gas impingement system of the Stoner design. However, I quickly learned to dread the filth that would become of my BCG after even a short range session. I felt as though I was spending more time scrubbing carbon than flinging lead.
The Savage Rascal takes a solid stab at bringing us a rifle that is both compact and easy to wield.
If you are like me, you love your Ruger 10/22 rifles and carbines. However, I have always felt that the factory sights leave much to be desired. As I strive to bring my 10/22’s closer to perfection (and closer to
